RHINOPLASTY

Nose surgery or rhinoplasty is the procedure used to:

- Reduce or increase the size of the nose
- Change the shape of the tip of the nose - Correct a deviated septum (septoplasty)
- Reduce the size of the nostrils - Change the angle between the nose and the nostrils

It can also correct birth defects, injuries, or help improve some breathing problems. The procedure should wait until after the adolescent growth spurt. This development usually occurs between the ages of 14 and 15 for girls and slightly later for boys.

BROW LIFT

The purpose of a forehead lift or brow lift is to restore a more youthful and refreshed appearance to the area above the eyes. This plastic surgery corrects drooping eyebrows and eliminates horizontal lines, furrows and wrinkles that can make a person look angry, sad or tired.

The lip lift is a cosmetic surgery that increases the volume of the lips using a device that fills the lips with special substances, the patient's own fat or implants. This procedure is usually performed in conjunction with a facelift, rhinoplasty, forehead lift, cheek surgery or after a mentoplasty.

Those who have thin lips or who due to age have seen a decrease in the volume of their lips, and wish to thicken them to improve their image, are widely satisfied with this procedure. The result can be temporary or permanent, depending on the material used.

CHEEK SURGERY

Cheek surgery is an operation that changes the basic shape and balance of the patient's face via contoured implants that are applied to the cheekbones to give them a better appearance or even reshape the jawline. This surgery is ideal for those who have an obvious lack of volume in the cheeks, due to genetic conditions or circumstances of an accident, to which the implant would certainly add body and contour to the cheeks that lack definition.

Individuals with weak cheek structure, a narrow or flat face, or who have lost cheek contour due to the effects of aging, may benefit from the aesthetic enhancement that cheek augmentation can provide.

EYELID SURGERY

Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a plastic surgery that corrects drooping or drooping eyelids, as well as bags and puffiness around the eyes. Such conditions resulting from the laxity of the eyelid skin and the accumulation of fat around the eyes can impair vision in some cases. The procedure consists of the removal of excess skin, fat, or muscle from the upper and lower eyelids by incision or laser correction.

This surgery is not limited to older patients, as there are people who inherit a predisposition to the development of fat pads at an early age. However, people can be excluded if they suffer from any of the following conditions: dry eyes, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, glaucoma. It is advisable to have a previous check-up with an ophthalmologist.

SCAR REMOVAL

- Microdermabrasion: to remove irregular or thickened scars.
- Laser surgery: to treat thin scars.
